I only double dip if at home, with my family. At other people's houses, no double dip. I would most certainly expect other's do not double dip either, but when you get children involved, they just don't know better (if the parent doesn't make it clear, or depending on the age), so you don't always know about that. But, if you're all friends/family, you are sharing germs anyway without even knowing.
