I suppose that I'll step over into the "it's rude" camp. I'm not concerned so much with the germ factor unless, of course, you are hacking and sneezing all over the place. But the plain, simple and pointed truth of it is that double dipping is just plain out and out rude. So...yeah...don't do it.
