I think the problem is people aren't thinking of supplements like Creatine, Glutamine or Protein properly.
You see, the supplements do nothing more than help your body maximize your workout.
Creatine will help you get out more reps by providing energy for muscles in movement. You'll be able to lift more intensely, with more reps. Harder workout = more muscle.
Glutamine helps the body absorb and make use of Protein as effeciently as possible. This is the recovery phase. Your percentage rate of growth will increase thanks to this.
This has all been proven.
But on Creatine specifically, Eastern atheletes have been using Creatine for over 20 years, and have yet to provide or show any adverse effects. Also, Native Americans who ate a nearly all-meat diet were eating the same amounts of creatine as recommended through these pills. There is nothing unnatural going on.
