If you want to get REAL weapons, as in combat grade weapons, you have two choices. First, start going to your local Ren/medieval faires/fests and do some shopping there. If you really want live steel, find someone who makes weapons which can cut cinder-blocks unscathed. Of course, these events will also have more inexpensive items.
