i dont mind small hairs.. especially if they are light in color, and you can only see them when the light hits them just right..
As I said earlier, I just don't care much for a big bush underneath the arms...
Luckily, all of my girlfriends have either sheared everything off or they disliked the underarm hair just as much as I do, so it never gets to the point it bothers me.
