Split urinary stream is a symptom of prostatitis and prostate cancer, so you may want to consider seeing a Urologist. I don't know how old you are so I don't know what your risk is. I'd guess that since you're not describing any other symptoms that your risk is low. But I am not a doctor.

You may not have known it, but stress can cause more than just high blood pressure. You may actually be unable to relax the sphincter muscle in your penis enough while urinating. "This is usually a transient phenomenon that will go away on its own," says Sharlip. Try relaxation techniques, like meditation, and see if it helps.
