I need one of you motorhead's help in a big way here. If i cant fix this problem, a planned road trip will hve to be cancelled for the weekend. I have a 94 chevy van that's steering box has quit holding fluid. The leak is comin from a hole on the back of the box, in a boss cast on the back of the box about a quarter of the way from the top. All the parts stores and dealers have been no help in figuring out if this was a plug hole or soemthing of that effect. We really dont want to drop the box. Is this a plug hole or somethinug that can be capped with jb weld or something well enough to last a few weeks?
