i did that during 5th grade something like...people will notice and you'll probably hear "what happened to your glasses?" and such for about a week, and then everyone gets used to it pretty quick. then during my sophmore year i changed back to glasses and got pretty much the same thing.
the thing is, its not really a big change for other people. its just your thing that you do. it just like get a very different hair cut or dying your hair. its different for everyone for the first couple day, and then they get used to it.
