Axis and Allies is a very fun game and the rules aren't as complicated as they might at first seem. It's been one of the classic war board games ever since it was released, decades ago. Even for casual board game fans, Axis and Allies is a must own. Wow that sounds like a commercial.
The problem for me is that people eventually learn nearly unbeatable strategies... and it usually boils down to who gets Germany and few die rolls. But there are ways to balance it out... if you ever get to that point, there are FAQs on the internet.
