No offense to anyone here who might actually be Dave, but he was beastly, AND a lying asshole. There is absolutely no way that he would have been able to stay if Charla hadn't picked him. They chose each other in order to further each others own interests -- neither of them was acting in a selfless manner. If he had been "the unattractive nice guy" he could have stuck with Charla and gotten a lot of support to win. However, he backstabbed more than anyone else on the show, and honestly, deserved to be the only person in the finals that "lost." Charla was entirely justified to keep the money for herself -- she deserves it far more.
