I've got one on my truck and it does work, not perfectly but does work. Before I put it on I had some stone chips on the front (about three), since I put it on I have had not one rock chip on the hood. The bugs on the windshield are cut down a bit. And it does seem to deflect some of the rocks away from the windshield as well.
