Man, I almost forgot about this thread. Anyway, when I went to get the mouse, I quickly glanced over all the replies (I didn't have much time) and I bought the Logitech MX700. It was incredibly expensive, but surely worth it if it lasts.
My hand finally fits so I can just lay it on the mouse and moving is also way easier with the whole optical thing.
I did have to replace the batteries though, the batteries that came with it were just no good, they didn't last more than 2 hours. Now I have Duracell Rechargables in em and that works just fine... they can last days.
