Matchstick Men
I saw Matchstick Men today. It was a good movie. Well done.
Nicholas Cage's performance as an obsessive compulsive is, in my book, award winning. He brings the character to life through his physical acting in places where the script development dragged. The young actress playing the street smart daughter in the film also did an absolutely tremendous job - especially for a teenager. The cinematography was amazing, and it was truly fun to watch. The plot was relaxed, but twisting. Hang on for the end. Although the relaxed plot almost worked for the film's entirety, it did have its slow parts where I was forced to lean back in my chair and use my hand as a headrest.
Bottom Line: B+, put down your cigarette and get to your local theater.
