I lay in your arms at night
Awake to your gentle breath on my neck
I yearn to be near you
When we are apart
Yet when we are together
Nothing matters more than the time we share
We barely speak
But in your eyes I see the words
Unspoken fears from bygone days

It pleagues our hearts
Clouds our minds in darkness
But by candle light, only breath lengths apart
