I wanted to start this to find out how many of you have had Lasic eye surgery, what the results were, and whether you would do it again.

I'll start. My wife and I both had it done in November of 2000. I was about 20:90 with an astigmatism before the surgery. I have been a consistent 20:10 since the surgery. I don't have night-blindness or dry eyes like some have reported. I paid $699/eye on a special deal with a doctor in Dallas. I would absolutely do it again and regard it as one of the better things I have ever done for myself.

My wife had it done the week after I had mine. She had about the same vision I did beforehand and ended up with 20:20 vision afterwards. She sometimes has a little trouble seeing at night, and she had to have some special plugs put in her tear ducts to help with a dry eye problem. She likes the results but sometimes isn't sure she would do it again if she could due to some of the problems.
