I've been using Eudora exclusively since '95. I actually use the old 16-bit Eudora light at work for business (still running on an old Win 3.1 machine).... but at HOME, I use ithe 32-bit version quite 'severly': mutiple accounts, personalities with all kinds of configuration oddities. I find it to be robust & stable - and it gives you much more control than the MS product.
Furthermore, I run it continuously for weeks at a time. If you are having crash problems and are running Eudora, look elsewhere in you system.
As for security holes, Eudora can be configured to NOT use the Microsoft dlls for HTML rendering.....which will save you from virii and MS-Specific bug exploits.
