having worked as a constituant advocate in MN for a few years, i can tell you that the #1 case load is veterans affairs...and much of that is the VA giving vets less than they deserve...a problem in and of itself. but the most heart breaking cases were when the DOD would dick with servicemen and women who were serving abroad with pay cuts, or service fees for their families living on base...any of that kind of crap. Two things i will always remember-how often this sort of thing went on, and how many people would call in tears. there is NO excuse for short changing the people who risk their lives in our name.
