I'm not exactly sure what the specifics are. Are you working at home, VPNing in to work, with a company-leased DSL line or what?
If it's a company-leased DSL line to your home, then (most likely) no one will care - though check to see if they have any specific rules against it.
If it's on a company-bought computer, I really wouldn't recommend it, irregardless of who owns the DSL line. Computers have a funny way of making the fact that "but he's 250 miles away from me!" only add about 10ms to a ping time.
