They aren't a Harley? Two problems with this.
1) It is, in essence, a Harley. They use a/m Harley motors, a/m Harley primaries, a/m Harley transmissions, and pretty much everything else is a/m Harley based. (a/m = aftermarket). The bikes may not have anything that says Harley on 'em, but it doesn't mean that it isn't basically the same mechanically. Admittedly, it has about as much relation as a NASCAR racer to a stock showroom car, but it isn't like they build Norton Commandos.
2) So what if it isn't a Harley. Lots of other motorcycles out there. It's been my experience that the people that jack their jaws the most about "it's not a Harley" don't even own a bike. Whatever, not a Harley, big deal. The only bikes I don't like are the ones with assholes riding them.
I don't care overmuch for what OCC produces (not my style), but I still say they're bad-ass rides. They do some amazing fab-work. I wouldn't plant my butt on one of their bikes, but that is mostly because I don't have $80k to throw at a scoot.
