Sweet potatoes are horrible...
Well, not horrible, but not anything like my secret desire... buttery mash.
Mmmmm.... mash....
Or better still, nice roast potatoes, straight out of the oven, crispy and brown on the outside, but light, fluffy and steaming inside. A chunk of butter melting over them and some real gravy (none of that "out of the packet" nonesense) and I'm in heaven...
God, I'm actually salivating writing this!

PS - She hasn't banned carbs, and is as tempted as me, but I think we are in a "controlled carb" eating plan. Apparently, people don't go on diets anymore. They're "eating plans"...
