Well, lets see. Its Centrino (not just M) so you have all the benefits of that. Which means a lot of power, and a lot of battery life. Thats a plus. 40 gigs of HD space is really good for a laptop. (I only have 10 gigs
). Plenty of ram, big enough screen. I think anything bigger than 14 is too huge. DVD/CD-RW good good. XP, eh, too hard to get win2k now isn't it?
Heck, that alone is pretty much enough to pay for the 2500canadian/1800Us that you are paying. Getting software on top of that is just good stuff. Looks like a good deal to me. Gotta love universities getting great deals for the students, even though they really limit your choices of manufacturer.
