VH r o c k e d. I beat it and considering when it came out it was fairly refreshing to americans (remember fft and to came out
here long after VH).
i beat it.... then a few months later i beat it again
it had a secret ending or some such. i loved the game
oh and when your characters die they are available in the next battle unless i've lost my mind.
VH2 was a massive let down. it started off interesting and the action was much more realistic but obtaining skills was just too fucking difficult. you had to attach a askill to e v e r y weapon. i'm not even going to try and explain. it sucked.
