Vaginismus
A conditioned involuntary contraction (spasm) of the lower vaginal muscles resulting from a woman's unconscious desire to prevent penetration.
The pain of vaginismus may prevent intromission, often resulting in unconsummated marriage. Some women with vaginismus enjoy clitoral orgasms.
