| I have 2 very old personal computers that still work; they're both Atari's (Yes, THAT Atari!)  One is an 800XL; the oher is a 1200XL.  The odd thing about the 1200XL is that Atari claims that there were never any 1200XL production units, only prototypes.They both function well; since they don't have hard drives, there are two options for "saving the BASIC programs you might write" (Oh, yeah, THAT'S gonna happen!)  First is the "Modern" method- a 5-1/4" floppy drive (single density only); the second is a cassette drive that records the program to an audio cassette (talk about a slow loader!); I also have a functioning thermal printer, a 2600 baud phone-cradle modem, a strip-chart printer and about a billion program cartridges.  It's a real museum piece, but I love it.
