in edmonton they just passed a new drving law which requires new drivers a 1 yr prob period when getting the learners.So if i got my license now, i wouldnt be able to get the class 5 license till '04. Is there anyway to avoid this, ala getting license somewhere else in canada and just updating it to an Albertan with another exam
