Punch-Drunk Love: This movie haunts my mind. Everything about it was just wonderful. It's been a while since I've seen it, so I want to watch it again. It's unlike anything else Adam Sandler has ever done. It's his best work by far. The soundtrack is one of its strong points. It gets stuck in your head and does such a good job setting the pacing and mood. Worth watching for some of the filming tricks too.

Be Kind Rewind: Totally worth watching despite what you think of the trailer. It's much, much more than what the trailer shows. A pleasant surprise. Quirky, indeed. Fantastical, even, but very downplayed in that respect...kind of dreamlike.

Spider: Creepy. Psychological. Superb mind-fuckery. Cronenberg's best in my opinion. It weaves together a story via memories, and the inconsistencies and contradictions that may bring. Being that that's the main vehicle of the film, it's what makes it quirky.
