Kyle Busch set NASCAR record.
It's been called the "World's Fastest Half-Mile" And this weekend, Kyle Busch drove it faster than anyone in history as he (for the first time in NASCAR history) won all three series in the same weekend. After rallying to win a caution married Camping World Truck Series on the 18th in his No. 18 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota. He went on to take the flag in the Nationwide series on the 20th. (After spinning his strongest challenger 22 Brad Keselowski in Lap 219) Then, He won the Sprint Cup series the next day. After 3 of his strongest competitors (Jimmie Johnson (who had the pole position and lead for 175 laps) Tony Stewart and Carl Edwards) had issues at the extremely fickle Bristol track. But the track worked with Kyle (has it has in the past) as he worked his way up from starting in the 19th position.
Klye has been burning up the tracks this year. So far he has won 9 of the 22 races in the Nationwide series. 5 of the Sprint Cup series. And 2 of the 15 Camping World series. That’s an impressive record that even Jimmie Johnson has to respect. And this weekend’s sweep places him third in points for the Chase.
If he doesn’t win the chase this year, even take my word for it. Watch this young driver next year. He’s going to break even more records
