Yeah, I didn't catch any of the 3DS stuff except for like the first minute or so. But, I really don't have too much interest in hand helds anyways. Unless there's some absolutely amazing game on there that I MUST HAVE, then I don't plan on purchasing one.
IGN reported that the controls for Zelda are actually fantastic...better than Red Steel 2. It really could have been some shitty interference on stage.
On one hand, I agree with you that they could have just used regular controls and tried to change the game in some other way, but on the other hand, I've been looking forward to a
good game that can make use of good 1:1 controls like this. Whether or not this game will actually be any good remains to be seen, but at least I can see these controls for a series that I generally tend to like and am accustomed to.
