True, sex is for procreation, but it's come to mean a lot more these days. We are judged on it as a skill, not just a method for procreation. Women complain about men and men complain about women in regards to their innability to perform sexually in the sack. This isn't a matter of simple procreation. We've gone to great lengths as a society to take the procreation out of sexual activity.
If sex didn't feel so good, we wouldn't be extict. There are only 2 species that have sex for pleasure, humans and dolphins. Every other speicies just does it as a matter of course. We would be driven to have sex as we are driven to eat, to sleep. There must be some kind of drive for us to procreate it just happens that pleasure is how is works for us.
The pleasure sensations in sex are mother natures tool to get us to procreate. Sex means a lot of things, but I'm not sure if love is, or even can be, one of them. For all we know there would be no need for love without the drive for sex.
In animals sex means procreation. But for man, sex is so much more, a blessing and a curse.
