Have you owned dogs before?
What kind of personality do you want in the dog?
Is the property going to be fenced in?
Will there be small childeren there?
Other pets/livestock?
What restrictions on dog breeds exist where you're moving (sounds like there won't be any)
Are you going to have the dog trained?
By who?
Trained in what?
You need to know the answers to these questions as you pursue your journey to enlightenment.
