Weight loss and maintaining weight is a lifestyle change. I cringe every time I hear someone say that they are trying a new diet.
It was already said, but eating natural, non-processed food is the way to go combined with an exercise routine. It takes a while to train your body to not crave the junky food. I notice that when I have a slip, it takes me a couple of weeks to kick the 'I need grease, sugar, and/or salt' urges.
Some of my favorite snacks are: tangerines with almonds, berries and bananas mixed with yogurt and granola, and grapes and gouda. I generally snack instead of eating meals. I find that way I'm never hungry or stuffed.
It takes work at the beginning, but then it just becomes a part of your daily life. Good luck!
