GG, they're not Fleeing Lybia inasmuch as they are Fleeing Africa. People from all over Africa try crossing the Mediterranean to get to Europe. Lybia is a popular route, so is Morocco (to Spain/Portugal or to the Canaries).
Some make it, some don't, and tragically, some die.
And of course they're not popular in the countries they go to. Plight of the illegal immigrant.
