I still contend that Brady (assuming he stayed healthy) was a worthwile first round pick. The Pat's offense was intact, including a really good offensive line and Moss at WR, so why wouldn't Brady have continued throwing lots of TD's? Call it a next year jinx if you want to, either way we will never know.
Season enders aren't uncommon, but in the first quarter of the first game? That's newsworthy for any player, not just because it's Golden Boy Tommy.

That has to suck. You can't go wrong with picking up Brady. He's a solid fantasy stud. McNabb, Manning (Peyton) are also good pickups. Next would have to Favre and maybe Romo. That's football and fantasy for you though. No way to know he would be out with a season ending injury.
Now I'm curious how Matt Cassel will do. There's the tiniest possibility he could break out.
