The Sigma SD1 was also in the running, but they didn't put a good enough lens on it. It could have been great if they would have pit a decent f2 or f2.8 lens on it and a 4x zoom. I'm sure I'll want the next release of it though.

As I said before, you should check the CHDK site, if I'm not mistaken, it allows many cameras to use remote controlls, heck, I was shooting 1/30,000 of a second pictures with an sd450 using the CHDK firmware!
