You've got that Glen Campbell tune running through my head now. Catchy jingle at the time, but way outclassed by other offerings.
The David Soul tune was parleyed by him based on his Starsky & Hutch fame. You can catch it reprised in the Owen Wilson/Ben Stiller movie version of the show. Really quite hilarious.
