While I admit Flair to be the best, he was never a favorite until the last few years. I have heard through people who have worked with him and from the WWE and other talking heads and superstars, that Flair more than anyone would and could work with anyone and make them look like a great wrestler. He was the ultimate pro.
My favorites would have to be Perfect Curt Hennig, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Rob Van Dam, Chris Jericho, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Randy Savage, Jerry Lawler, and Bret Hart.
They all (except Hart) had great skills and a sense of humor in the ring and in interviews. These guys weren't just clothesline, leg drop, wrestlers these guys had/have true skills and put on fucking killer shows.
And again, from everything I have ever heard from people who have met and/or worked with these guys, whether in interviews or in personal contact with them.... the only assholes on m list are Hart and Savage. HHH has a ad rap basically because he's married to he owners daughter, but the man has fucking talent to be where he is.

I just love people who use the excuse "I use/do this because I LOVE the feeling/joy/happiness it brings me" and expect you to be ok with that as you watch them destroy their life blindly following. My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?"
