I wouldn't be surprised if those cars in "as is" condition are worth more than fully restored versions.
Just from watching the latest Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and other such classy car shows, the unrestored "all original everything" cars are getting as much or more attention than the perfectly restored cars. To many collectors it also seems there is a growing distaste for the overrestored.
