Mix together:
4 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cup boiling water
food coloring if you want
Knead until smooth.
Add food coloring if desired.
Make shapes and bake at 300 degrees until set and golden (1/2 hr to 1 hr) you could also paint it with some egg white before cooking to make it more golden...
shellac it when done - .
