I realize now that customer service is where I've been most happiest. I love being the "hero", the person who comes to the rescue and is able to do things that were deemed impossible by everyone else.
Helpdesk level 2 or 3 suits me best. Helpdesk level 1 answering phones, I didn't mind it, but I didn't get the same level of satisfaction as having the bailout button to escalate something I diidn't feel like or didn't want to do to level 2 or 3.
