I actually think it's their best film.
On the original topic, I saw Spamalot in NYC, but not the original cast. I really enjoyed it, but if you are a big Python fan you do wind up getting distracted by playing "spot the changed dialog" and "spot the other Python reference thrown in."
I found I least enjoyed the parts that were more or less verbatim from the film. I knew the punchline and the differences in accents, voices, etc were distracting.
