Several articles cites the obvious extended rear deck as "truth" that the new NSX would be mid engined. As far as I know GT has nothing to do with engine layout. That's why Ferrari has had mid engined GT's (F50) Porche has a mid engined GT, and even Ford has had a couple mid engined GT's. Didn't the NSX team recently win on the Japan GT circuit?
