The simplest reason that you change your behavior is that you change your beliefs. I think you said that in a round about way when you mentioned commitment. You can't be truly commited if you don't believe 100% and if that is believing something different than you did before, you changed your belief.

Every one of my life changes has been the result of that simple concept. Of course, it took me many years to understand that concept!!
