Whoever said that doing abs on an empty stomach is just plain wrong. You won't have nearly as much energy as you did if you ate something beforehand. Working out in the morning on an empty stomach provides no additional gain.
The key to losing fat weight:
1) Eat a low-calorie, very low saturated fat diet that is high in protein. Each day you should be operating at a caloric deficit (ex. Metabolism=2300 Calories, eat ~1800 Calories/day)
2) Use whey as a primary source of protein. Optimum Nutrition is a great brand at a low price. Boneless, skinless, grilled chicken breasts are another great source of protein (30-40g/breast) and has almost no fat.
3) Run at low-intensity for longer. Instead of running at 6.5mph for 30min, run at 5.5 for 60min.
4) Abdominal exercises are great, especially for back support, unfortunately they won't help you lose weight. You will only be making the muscles stronger. YOU CANNOT SPOT REDUCE FAT!
5) Make sure that you eat healthy and eat a LOT of protein (1g/1lb body weight) so that you are not losing muscle mass as you lose weight.
6) Don't use the NO-Xplode anymore. The best "supplement" for lifting weights is protein, i.e. the building blocks of muscle. You can also forgo the amino acid pills b/c all protein is are amino acids. One serving of a whey protein drink will supply you with all the amino acids you need.
