I have found that since I moved further north that most restaurants don't even serve biscuits. Or if they do, they are not good. I miss southern-type cooking at times.
I never special order at restaurants anymore. My order always gets messed up so I've learned to either pick out what I don't want in my food or order something different. I've never been to a restaurant that actually follows the 'made to order' style.
