Where the sunlight breaks to catch the time
Nothing bitter, nothing sweet
In life’s hands were the soul’s frozen feet
Falling nowhere but so close to the edge
There’s so much inside but nothing said
A crushed smile renders a sway
Beckoning new chances, new thoughts, new days
These nights embrace the cold dawned upon
Dreams once held; the memories are all but gone.
