There's a difference between saying "I love my girlfriend, she's great, but sometimes I have thoughts about sleeping with my co-worker" and saying "And for as much as I would enjoy being intimate with her (co-worker), I don't want to lose what I have with her (co-worker)."
That sounds like you're saying "I would bone her from here to Sunday, but I don't want to jeapoardize our friendship." And if you have a girlfriend, that's a pretty low reason to not bone your friend from work.
