Post-prandial hypertension/stress?
So, my body is kinda weird. After I eat a meal approximately 15 minutes to 1.5 hours afterwards my blood pressure will go up a lot (140/85 or so) (normally I am 120/75). And, I get a very uncomfortable feeling of tightness in my stomach, jaw, and throat (it is more difficult to breath). These feelings are accompanied by anxiety, and difficulties thinking, concentrating, and difficulties feeling relaxed/happy.
I call it post-prandial hypertension because that means post-mean blood pressure dangerous high blood pressure. My question is, do any of you feel this way after eating, and/or do you think it is a serious condition? I've been this way all my life that I can remember, and while it is really not fun, it hasn't messed up my life so far. I'm just worried that maybe it means that my heart can't do well when stressed or something, like it can't work well enough to get blood to my stomach. Or that I have diabetes... or something related to blood sugar.
Any help/thoughts would be appreciated.
