Well my first suggestion is a little late, but here it is... AVOID AOL. If you see AOL run in the opposite direction, and don't look back. They are notorious for bad service, even worse technical support, they don't listen to customers, and their internet service is crappy at best. They're clever, in the worst way.

As for your problem, that's tough. With AOL it's hard enough to shut-off your service even when you
are the owner. Just try calling him. If he keeps ignoring you, or avoiding the issue, just drop a hint that your lawyer will get involved.
