Using a grandparent's surname is a good way to go. Or a pet's. Or a favorite thing like a flower or season, although many flower names are also women's. Combining names lacks imagination, ie; Marjan's or Kenbar's....And by using a grandparent's surname or a pet's name, it won't necessarily be associated to your own, which helps in not getting unsolicited phone calls at home and such.
So, like Mal's suggestion that you incorporate your town, it might be something like Kennedy Real Estate of Boston or Kennedy Boston Real Estate.
