The Future of Brock Lesnar

When Brock Lesnar decided he wanted to leave WWE in late 2003 he was forced to sign an "no compete" clause in his contract which meant that he wouldnt be able to wrestle for any other professional wrestling company until his current contract expired, this is in 2010.

He left WWE in March 2004 after his last match which was against Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania XX. He was tired of the constant travelling and and the schedule that wrestling put him into and at 24 was still a young man. The travelling the superstars of wwe do typically is in a word... constant, always in a different town each week and then there was the regular trips to Europe, Asia and Australia.

He left to persue his life long dream of becomming a professional football player (NFL). Now i dont know if this is true but it was rumored that Brock did not leave in the traditional way that wrestlers are supposed to, this being saying goodbye and thanking properly all of the people who helped you get to where you are and helped make you the superstar that you have become, and apparently the locker room was filled with people disapointed with Brock's decision since alot of people had made alot of effort to get him to where he was, which was the most recognised superstar in wrestling at the time and a 3 time WWE Champion and all inside of 2 years which is unheard of since most people have to pay their dues over the course of alot of years before they get that chance to go for any titles.

Since he didnt make it as a professional football player he decided he would go back to what he had grown up doing - Wrestling, in may 2005 he met up with Vince McMahon the Chairman & owner of WWE. They offered him a contract but after a few days of considering it he decided to withdraw from the negotiations completely and then launched a lawsiut against WWE claiming that the "no-compete" clause was unfair and preventing him from earning a living, in the mean time he chose to go to Japan and Wreslte for New Japan Pro Wrestling where he is currently their IWGP Heavyweight Champion.

The legal battle is still ongoing and either way it goes i think there is a good chance he might end up wrestling for WWE again one day...Heres why...

Vince clearly wanted him back otherwise they wouldnt have met up last year even though lesnar decided against it. I think vince was still annoyed that lesnar left in the first place and therefore wouldnt offer him as big a contract as he was once on, lesnar would not have accepted this as he had established himself as just about the biggest star in WWE so he went to japan where he was guaranteed to be one of the top guys.Once this legal battle is over, which ever way it goes...

Result 1: WWE wins and lesnar cant wrestle anywhere except wwe - THEY MIGHT ASWELL TAKE HIM BACK THEN! Would be pointles to just leave him there doing nothing, they would be stupid to not sign him at all and let him suffer, i know he left in the wrong way but he wouldnt deserve this! plus if they win then they would be guaranteed to have him if they wanted and not worry about anyone trying to sign him til 2010, so they mught aswell use him, the fans would be really pissed off if they signed him and didnt make him a top guy again, it would just be wrong because everyone knows how good for business he can be.

Result2: .Lesnar wins and he can wrestle anywhere...

wwe if they have any sense will offer him whatever he wants because lets face they need him bad because he is a huge help to them as far as being able to carry at main events and being in major stroylines, plus the fans react in a big way to him, be it good or bad. Furthermore WWE would really not like to lose him to another company like TNA because how stupid would they look then, its like they could have had him but no they couldnt just let bygons be bygons and get on with things and then would see another comapny like TNA doing really well because they have a real talent like Lesnar.

WWE know he is good for business and are better with him than without him at the end of the day and Vince must surely know this!
